 I never really paid much attention to Camaros and Chevelles but do remember up dating  the 67 models with 68 parts to stay in your Super Stock class  the following years. Did that with my 1970 Challengers and 1971 Duster for three years in a row. 

Would bet he has it in one of his barns.

Also the side marker lights were introduced in 68. 67 Didn't have them
