davehummell Posted October 29, 2019 Share Posted October 29, 2019 On the engine I bought it has a trw 8met b steering pump and mounted on the side of the oilpan just ahead of the pump is a vikers m 308 po40 valve that has marked on it in, return, feed. is this a flow valve or pressure valve? davehummell Posted October 29, 2019 Author Share Posted October 29, 2019 Called a bunch of Vickers dealers and found out it is a flow control valve. What will that do for me on the steering? The only thing I can figure it lowers the flow at high rpm. so my steering will be less sensitive driving down the road? Any thought's?
