Nice, I guess I'm not the only one driving around! I burned up a whole tank of gas driving in circles "exercising" my truck as there's nowhere to go, yet..........

this was my first time out for a drive in it in about 6 years. it was good to get out for a 30min cruise with another truck nut.

Great to see her stretching her legs! Must have felt really good after 6 years. I'm building yet another RS700 model at the moment. Stuck at home in Covid 19 lockdown!

Many thanks.

My choice would be the RS if I ever do but the Pete definitely has attractive and not very common appearance.

Old School Pete. In my humble layman opinion the 359/289 was the last really good looking Pete. It still had plenty of subtle curves. (Had to have round lights, though). The next generation had all the radii sharpened so they got a kind of squared off look to them.

Kenworth did the same with the W900B. I much prefer the looks of the W900A.

Trent, what’s the serial number on the Pete?  This is my ‘76 with the same paint scheme.  I’ve never seen another like it.  I’ve been around the truck since ‘78 and bought it from the original owner.
