Minnesota Milk Toast is now pleading a case to Trump......so the taxpayer will be left to pay for his incompetence. Another blue state joining the race to bankruptcy.

And YRC is asking for 700 million to keep it's doors open and fund it's union pension, why should taxpayers bail out union pensions ?? if the union didn't rob it blind the money would be there, that money is invested  and the returns pay the pension, if your union and you trust crooks with your retirement then I guess you learn to eat dog food.

De Blasio and the Jacobin Democrats respond that this $1.5 billion cut from NYPDs budget and  fund youth programs, social services, and education — where rampant spending already yields grim results. Somehow, the thugs who have smashed windows, beaten cops, and opened fire on their fellow New Yorkers seem unlikely to be corrected by ceramics classes and aromatherapy.

Hiring freeze for 5 years, canceling two of the next four rookie classes entering the Police Academy and cutting the rookies down to 100 potential officers. June’s dismissal of NYPD’s  highly effective plainclothes unit. No more undercover cops in New York. Because of the mayors anti cop treatment of the rank and file NYPD’s uniformed headcount will plunge by 1,163 officers, and retirements have accelerated 49 percent. mid 2020 to 2021 NYPD expects to lose 2700+ street patrolmen

Georgia is testing about 30,000 people each day now.  An undocumented but significant number of people have tested positive only to be retested negative a few days later.  Happened to one of my former co-workers.  Five of our guts responded to a person sick call.  One of the crew from the transport ambulance claimed she just KNEW that the patient was infected, so ALL 8 people were tested.  One of the guys tested positive, but the rest, including the patient, tested negative.  The guy who tested positive was given another test and it came back negative.  Much ado about NOTHING!

Covid 19 hospitalizations have not spiked and the death rate is declining here in Georgia.  Only fools believe everything the liberal media tells them!

The tests sometimes report false negatives, that's why they usually test twice. Mortality depends on the case mix, and is much higher when the COVID-19 virus gets into a nursing home, etc.. The big threat we're just starting to see now is long term disability in COVID-19 survivors, we only know how this disease affects people for 6 months so far but looks like a lot of survivors will have health problems and disability for years to come.

So here is a thought god forbid Biden wins I will bet 15 days after his swearing in that the virus will be cured and gone and not a word will be on the fake news except how fast Biden got rid of it ??? I got a thousand dollars that is how it would go down.

I’ll see your thousand and raise you two.

No doubt now the dem vehicle to get Biden elected is Covid. They’re beginning to use it as a main ingredient in the campaign.

It’ll also serve as a way to get stammering Joe off the debate stage. A debate will be an epic failure. If Joe was a Mack he’d be throwing a 6-4 blink code — Complete loss of communication between ECM and Mouth on the J1939 CAN line.

For you name callers, Governor Walz is a retired Guard member and moderate democrat who has been endorsed by the NRA. He was a teacher who had no interest in politics until he took his students on a field trip to a Bush campaign rally and they were denied admission because the campaign thought one of the students was a democrat... That ticked him off and got Tim Walz to run for congress!

Calling people a “name caller” is calling someone names. You need to stop.

Translated- He’s a milky soaked, soggy, Dem who can’t make a decision to even support his own party (aka ultra-moderate) much less make a snap decision, when called upon, to stop the destruction of his state.

If your student shows up at a Bush rally wearing a “Bush Sucks” T-shirt and a 4 X 4 board reading “ burn the Bush” they aren’t letting’em in. They’ll melt his snowflake ❄️ and show him the door.

* If I gave you the CB handle Lady Blah Blah (after Lady Gaga) it simply a term of BMT endearment and, actually, more of a descriptor than a name.

*Milk Toast isn’t a name, it’s a term in the dictionary under “Milquetoast”. If you look it up it’ll say.... A very timid, unassertive, spineless person, especially one who is easily dominated or intimidated. It fits his personality to a “T”. I’m using a term, not a name. Milk Toast is less French and more phonetic.

Sorry that my governor and I refuse to conform to your stereotype of an AOC style "democratic socialist." We make decisions based on what's right and works, not political ideology- For example, there's a ton of scientific research behind Walz's COVID-19 strategy. It's the moderates like Walz and Romney who "get 'er done" while the ideologues like AOC and Trump argue their untested political theories.

  • Haha 1

Your topic shifting, and personalizing a comment directed at an incompetent Governor, when you should be criticizing his handing of your state. All roads don’t lead to Trump.

Walz is a teacher. He needs to go to the dictionary and make reference to the terms protest and riot. Once he knows the difference he may someday become the Governor you wish he was. Plus, he’ll know what to do when a riot starts since he’ll know the difference. He also won’t have to beg the Donald to clean up his incompetence and’ll retain some dignity.

I’m not bragging since we have an “I wanna be a Governor” school teacher too. The situation isn’t very much better here.

Going Canoeing, I’ll be back at evening to continue your conservative re-education and we can work on negative effects of open borders in the years before the Fall of Rome and how it contributed to Rome’s eventual destruction.

Yet there is NO serious discussion about black on black violence which seems to be far more rampant.  The City of Chicago needs to work on it.  Obviously, the agenda being forced has other motives but with about 100 people dying over the weekends in the Windy City, BLM needs to look inward.

...or is it just that the number of tests are spiking? Commonm sense doesn't seem to be your strong suit, so let me lay it out for you: When limited number of tests are available, and you only test the worst cases, a small number of cases yields a large percentage of deaths. When more tests become available, and you start testing milder cases too, the number of cases goes up while the death rate declines. Then, when a surplus number of tests is available and anyone/everyone that wants to get tested can get one (even those w/o symptoms), the number of cases will climb even higher, while the death rate drops significantly. Turns out most people who are exposed to it, nothing happens. Their immune system works just like it does for any other virus, bacteria, germ, etc. Some people have a mild reaction. A few people have a serious fight with it, and a small fraction of a percent die. That's why the left-wing news is talking "number of cases" ...keeps the sheeple in a panic. No mention of death rates anymore, because that wouldn't fit the "orange man bad" narrative. Speaking of which, not only was the "study" showing HCQ "bad" recinded, other studies are now being reported which once again show HCQ to be beneficial...but those won't get the same press coverage because "orange man bad" had touted the drug as "promising" and, you know, orange man bad. Funny thing that scares the crap out of you libs is Obama needed 95% positive press to keep poll numbers as high as Trump has maintained with 95% negative press. If the press covered Obama like they have Trump, and Trump like they did Obama, what do you think the poll numbers would look like?

When approaching a 4-way stop, the vehicle with the biggest tires has the right of way!

The downfall of all your new right arguments is that they're based on fallacies- Truth is, we have too much crime everywhere and too many people in jail by world standards. The problem isn't that we have too many guns, we have too many people running around "locked and loaded" and ready to go off on anyone over anything. We have failed miserably at containing COVID-19 and will pay the price for years to come. And instead of supporting the problem solvers of both parties like Romney and Walz, you pour gasoline on this partisan fire with conservatism so extreme that you can't find a working example of it anywhere on this planet.

Conservatism works every time it's tried...until the left comes in & tries to blow it up. Hell, it even saved the Plymouth colony in 1623 when they scrapped socialism for capitalism & property rights.

That might apply there, but Trump's policies are more radical than traditional conservatism and the democrat's policies are not even as extreme as Euro style social democracy. If you look at the worlds most successful economies, with the exception of China, most are social democracies where capitalism is the default but the government insures universal health care and sometimes major utility services, etc..

I thought there wasn't a working example of it anywhere on the planet?

"But...but...but..."

This country was roaring along quite well until the left started injecting socialism & communism into the equation.

"But...but...but..."

Trump isn't a conservative, which is why a lot of conservatives hate him...despite him actually DOING the things they've been TALKING about for decades. He's more conservative than anyone in the democrat party, and more liberal than I and a lot of others on the right would prefer...but he gets $#!+ done. He told us what he wanted to do if elected, and by golly he's accomplished quite a bit of it...something that almost NEVER happens with more polished & groomed political-class politicians who pander for your vote & never once act on any of it once elected. I didn't vote for him in the 2016 primaries...and in the general election between the crook and the clown, I held my nose and chose the clown. Thank God he won, because we'd REALLY be in a mess right now if she had. After seeing what he has done, I absolutely voted for him in the primaries (even though it wasn't necessary) and look forward to doing so again in November. He's not perfect, but he's a hell of a lot better than Biden or anyone else the dems have to offer.

YOU NAILED IT HERE IMO.  BLM is funded by who?  The left claims when it comes to climate, Trump ignores facts.  When it comes to BLM, the left ignores facts-or should I say statistics.  Blacks  comprise what13-15% of US population?  Yet Blacks are involved in 40% of murders.  50+ % of robberies.  Think it might be statistically  accurate to say when a much smaller percentage of population is involved with let's say  half of serious crime, isn't it logical they are more likely to be involved with Police?  In the same week that Floyd died-and no need to  beat that dead horse-cop involved was a POS- I think 10 blacks died in Chicago and I think about 40 were wounded.  No police innvolved- but we don't hear about  that.

When we start hearing.."Black Fathers Matter", or "Black Families Matter" maybe we will see some real progress.

Google Bob Woodson.   This guy nails the problem-and it has nothing to do with us old white guys.  I look at attention my grandkids get and then I think of black kids that are growing up with no family or father figure present.  Not surprising where so many end up.

Been hearing that line for years- "Everybody is moving out of NY, California, LA, Minnesota, etc.". Looking at the census and ACS stats, most every metro area and big democratic state is gaining population, including California. Rural areas are pretty much losing population, with the exception of tribal nations and areas that have attracted immigrants. As for NYPD's whining, they've got twice as many cops per capita as Minneapolis and have been overstaffed for years.

You think so?  You familiar with Fairfield County Connecticut?  On Long Island Sound, last county on Conn coast before NYC.  It is where the rich and famous live-.  Well the area took a big hit when GE closed their corporate HQ there.  Guess what, all of a sudden, wealthy New Yorkers who had very expensive NYC condos, town houses etc are bailing out and headed to Conn.  Guess why?
