There was a sod farm about an hour from here that had a crawler forklift years ago.  Don't recall the brand.  The maneuverability and speed of pneumatic float tire forklifts made it obsolete.

The forks just look like they were reinforced

The attachment could be homemade or It could be produced kit or modification. There really is not a good way to tell for shore.

I have three Gannon earthcavators, rolling box blade, one is a very early one based on the remains of the tag and that one looks like it was fabricated by hand. The other two have a much more refined fabricated parts.
