mackrmodel686st Posted July 1, 2020 Share Posted July 1, 2020 Does anyone know if there is an egr delete kit for a 2006 cx613 with an e-7 engine? The truck seams to be way underpowered. The truck seams to have to work way to hard to climb hills loaded and only gets worse when the fan clutch kicks in. I used to drive an older e-7 427 without the emissions garbage on it and it would climb hills way better and the fan didn't kick on half as much. Big Mack Truck Posted July 4, 2020 Share Posted July 4, 2020 Have you ever seen an EGR delete on youtube? it looks pretty easy to do if you can turn your own wrenches. It looks like they just cut a piece of steel and drill some holes so it will fit where the egr matches up to the recirculation pipe and the exhaust bypasses it and leaves out the exhaust. Your only issue would be if the truck would throw a code cause it detects no flow.
