Hey everybody, I created this account because I'm a big fan of big trucks - including those beloved Bulldogs - and am interested in learning more and hope to have one someday. I don't know how often I'll be on here, but I'm glad I found this place and hope to get whatever I can out of it.

As for my personal history with Macks, my father drove an R model flatbed with a single rear axle (model year unknown) for a local machinery moving company. I also grew up with Backdraft being one of my favorite movies and seeing Truck 46 (ex-CFD Truck 5, shop number E-188 for those interested) on screen, but I didn't learn what a Mack CF was until high school, and I've wanted one ever since. I also own a model of a Mack Cruiseliner (not sure if it's properly spelled as one or two words) model kit that I hope to finish one day.

Anyways, that's all for now.

Welcome to the group! Lots of knowledgeable people here willing to share and quite a few truck modellers too.  Paul
