I have dreamed of owning this truck for a while. To my great surprise it was re-listed BUT it has a wonky model number and is listed as cab only, my heart sank. I sent an email just to inquire what happened to the rest of the truck.

Gerhart is still trying to sell their DM800's. You know, I love the DM800 series, wouldn't mind buying this one if it was oh about 8 grand cheaper . 65K rears on 24" rubber is just what the doctor ordered. Either leave it a coal truck for show or make it into a tractor.

1957 MACK B Model : All original I have never had it running, but the original engine turns over. TriPlex dual shift transmission. With a PTO The truck will come with a complete set of extra tires and rims. Also comes with new heated Mack mirrors, chrome hood ornament and the 2 side side profile ornaments.

A set of 5 amber B model clearance lights and replacement floor panels.

In the 80's it was on top of the hood.

In the 90's it was in the middle of the gill.

Now it's on the bottom of the gill,,,,,Whats next the the floor

Anyway the Dieter's chrome filler plate on top of the hood does help the flow of the grill

I saw a couple of these a few years ago. I think they were 415 horsepower, but can't remember for sure. I know they didn't have the Holset VGT turbos, they had the volvo EPG behind the turbo. I think it's just because the MP8 is the only engine being used in export chassis.

Found some info for you. The MP8 Export engine is designed to meet Euro III (no VGT, no EGR, no DPF) or Euro IV (no DPF). Also, the only models available for export are the GU8, CXU, and MRU. Does anyone know if the Australian models are exported?

It's my understanding you cannot get an MP7 (Euro III) export. I was told for simplicity and the terrain the trucks drive the MP8 was more desirable.
