Hello, I have a 2004 Mack Granite with a T310 10 spd trans.
I am wondering if anyone would have some insight on why when I shift the trans into high range 5th gear it wants to come out of high range and grinds? I then place it back into low and then back to high quickly and it seems fine. It happens about two to three times first thing in the morning when just taking off. Once the trans seems to warm up it doesn't happen at all the rest of the day unless I turn a corner loaded to the right fairly quickly. Almost like an airline is being pinched off or air is restricted. Any information would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.
