This came across Facebook the other day, might interest someone, maybe not

My questions are about the assend in it, 8 rod Timken

Does anyone knows  who supplies parts them as I have one of my older trucks that has this style of ass end and had no luck chasing bushes etc years ago so it just sits about doing stuff

Topo is yours worm or double reduction ?

Mine is double reduction and the ratio is 10.22

I have some 5.68 ? Rockwell from a Rockwell back end I bought some time ago that apparently will fit the Timken backend, dunno if this is true or not but will find out in the future

When putting rear tires on to bring it home I found that jacking up one axle both sides that  they won't turn I had to jack up  both axles both sides to get the wheels to turn  . I have seen a number of trucks with out power dividers this was my first truck that had no spider gears. I got the name Hi Traction out of the Military Manual .
