I've been in the haz-waste business for 20 years and decided to buy a 2010 Mack CHU 613 dump truck with a pup.

I must say, hauling rock is a lot more "challenging" than transporting acids, bases and class 7 waste.

I'm looking for basic info and tech tips to keep my truck in the safest and most cost effective condition to eliminate downtime.

Good looking set up. Basically if your mechanically inclined keep your truck serviced regularly and take a good look at things and fix them before they break. Example rubbing airlines or electric connections. Also if your driving yourself you can listen for strange noises or vibrations and fix them before they break. Good luck
