New cab $4,500. What is an "RD facelift" ?

Thats the last generation with the soft curved hood and square lights. 1990 and newer.

Yup. And the cab's LH front corner duplicates Superliner cowl, has square shape. RH corner is the same as a classis R-model has with depressing for air cleaner and its tube.

But looking the pictures it seemed to me that cab was not brand new but freshened up or rebuild. Weld seam along the rear edge of the floor panel looks like rust goes from there.

Another thing I bet it wouldn't come from Mack with door hinges and door latches already installed either.

AND zero seam sealer and the small spots of sound deadened. Also thinking about it most all Mack body parts came in a baked black primer/sealer.

still available rebuilding 79 rd686 would this fit if you do not have where could i find one thanks

you  would have to change the left cowl for the 79, hood won't line up.
