Traton and Navistar have officially entered into a definitive merger agreement after announcing that the companies had reached an agreement for Traton to buy out the remaining shares in Navistar on October 16.

It'll be interesting to see how this will affect Cummins. Looks like they'll be left out in the Cold..

Wouldn't doubt it, as Traton SE/ Traton Group, is a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, one of the largest commercial vehicle manufacturers with MAN, Scania, and Volkswagen and South American's Caminhões e Ônibus brand.
