At the end of the VIN it says KIT, it would either be a Glider or a KDA that was not exported.

I guess the lesson we learn here is that there was some "independence" when it came to the guys that punched those plates😎

The 600 K by the way is on Cape Cod, is a 237 5 speed, with rubber bushed rears-5 spoke so I say  34's or 38's?  Has a back of cab crane- I think its a Hiab.  frame is junk.

I’m pretty sure the Westerns were all RSK600KITxxxxxxx, RSK700KIT....., WLK700KIT.....etc.  where the R, F, W etc denotes the model, S or L denotes the frame, K means kit, 6 or 7 denotes the series, KIT is a redundant reference to a glider and the last 3 digits are the sequential number of that model’s kit.  The 2 digit year of production starts off the sequence, which is unusual because Mack issued the Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin for the year the truck was sold in in most cases.
