So after going through all kinds of orthotics prescribed by podiatrists who want to sell you "stuff", I decided I would try the "Good Feet" store.  the sales pitch made sense, but their price is outrageous.

But having said  that, if their stuff works , another story.

Anyone have any experience with them?

I hate to say it, but I made a bad choice a few years ago when the girl friend told me that I needed to go get some inserts for my shoes. We went to the Good Feet Store. Not 1 but 2 pairs of inserts. I payed over 5 hundred for the pair and didn't use them one time. I could not walk for any distance for long and you can say I threw away 500 dollars. I cannot recommend them, but everyone is different.

They run a lot of Good Feet commercials on TV here; almost every customer they talk to is crying. If their inserts are over $250, then I can see why they're crying.

After the sales pitch I ask- well how much?  he says 1126!..I should have said "..great- I get change for my 20"!

Going back to Mike's comment, in the sales pitch they say you wear them for 1/2 hr first day and then increase daily until your foot "grows into them".  so I thought..why don't I do that with ones I bought at Walmart after stepping on the Dr Scholls machine that "reads " your foot.?

Talk about having balls huh?  Well in addition to the arch supports they "give" you foam ones to put in your slippers!

When I gave him that .."are you out of your mind look", he says..     "well I tell most people to go home and think it over."
