I ordered a used jake brake setup to replace my current (parts missing since I purchased the truck) brake from Manders. Was buttoning everything up from manifold/exhaust/injectors change to cripple egr, and noticed that one of the internal oil lines in the jake was broken, looks like from shipping (broke at the check valve). We put a plug in the oil port and started it, but were scared to run it long like this not knowing if something was starving for oil, or does it only work the jake. I figure with MLK day tomorrow chances of getting one is low. Does anyone know for certain if it would or wouldn’t hurt anything to run it like this? I really want to see how it does!

Thanks
