Mack Metroliner Truck Cabin Getting Warm

Question

Hi Guys,

I recently acquired a 2009 Mack Metroliner running a isc Cummins with the 6 speed auto box behind it with 416000km on the clock

All the temp gauges are reading fine however I have noticed that there is a lot of heat that comes from the floor into the cabin especially on long runs over 90kmh. Is this normal on this type of unit?

The exhaust does run under the drivers side and I imagine the 6 speed auto is more for town running than highway

Any ideas/feedback would be good

Thanks
