RD Carpet

Still looking for a full RD carpet kit, I assume Superliner would work also, I throw this out there once a year or so with no luck lol !

I took a rubber floor mat to the local upholstery shop and the made it.   Fit right up.

I used a commercial grade carpet entrance mat with rubber backing. cut it to the shape needed. cost less than $50 and helped quiet the truck at the same time

Thanks guys both good ideas and I did cut a piece of black commercial grade black carpet a while back and it currently ain't too pretty... Problem with the upholstery shop thing is my rubber floor does not make a good stencil anymore and a new one is very pricy if you have priced one lately... The beauty of the "kit", I bought one from Mack like 20 years ago lol, the carpet is fully bound and you get the nice piece for the firewall, just my OCD....

Totally understand the OCD part, but when you run 30 year old equipment, NOS parts get hard to come by.   Did you ask your dealer or Watts Mack if they can get it?  I would say mine came out better than factory and we did the firewall also.

What I found locally is industrial carpet with rubber (poliurethane?) backing and they claim I could bend it in shape applying some heat. Haven't the job done yet just going to put my hands on.
