Rob Posted June 18, 2021 Share Posted June 18, 2021 I think it was more of a "one off" myself. I believer I seen the truck back in 1982 in central Illinois at a truck stop fueling. Vladislav Posted June 21, 2021 Share Posted June 21, 2021 Actually the truck in the picture was the 2nd generation Superliner with older hood installed. So my guess is the doors went off the same early truck as the hood. Also look closely at the stripes on the Superliner 2. Not quite the same because the downward sweep starts a few inches further back. mowerman Posted February 12 Share Posted February 12 Didn’t really notice till now, but it definitely looks like the nose doesn’t go with the doors… seems they should’ve continued the site stripes straight across and yes, super liner did offer a lot of cool paint schemes.. here is a go.
