The sign I think is for the truck beside it Swishman

Theres some classy looking rides there

Im just stunned at how good some these trucks look

Were Brockways popular all over the U.S. or more just the East coast ?

Thanks for sharing the photos with us

I grew up on the west coast saw almost every truck you could see from the 60s on up on the roads and highways but never a Brockway only after moving to North Carolina I saw them in the 90s

ive been out here 41 years and ive only seen one hauling cans around LA in the early 80s and 1 at the pomona fair grounds at an antique show around 20 years ago..bob

through the 90's, Brockways were a common sight here on the Jersey roads with heavy contractors using them as low boy horses.

Paul is right, the 3 speed is for the 257 to the left of the truck in the picture.  They are both Tom Kile's pics...

Brockway's were very popular on the east coast but they did have dealers all across the country.  So it's not uncommon to see them pop up in other areas of the country.

Hayseed...  Ironically that's my truck!  Its a 1970 E361T Brockway that my Dad and I restored a few years back.

Very Nice Truck, Tom. You & your dad did a Great Job on It..
