Pulled this code today p2698 . Truck has been running fine but have been noticing my exhaust temp going up even when truck is not loaded . I did buy a temp gun and checked the temp we’re the turbo outlet flex hose goes in to the dpf system it did not

read the same as the exhaust temp gauge I don’t know if that’s were the exhaust temp sensor goes . I noticed the exhaust temp going up for a couple of days and then that code pops up . Can anybody tell me what that code means . Also can I drive it while I schedule dealer.

A stored a code P2698 in your diesel powered vehicle means that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected improper voltage that is outside the normal expected value range within the fuel injector control circuit for the exhaust aftertreatment system.
