I have a Mack full line brochure from around 1980 and it shows the V8 Detroits available in the DM800.

My friend had a DM800 winch tractor with a V8 Detroit. Detroit's were very popular here where I am back in the day. Was a few 2-stroke Superliners pulling logs too.
