I have 2006 Mack mr 688s with Horton clutch fan about two years old. It seems like every other day it will start humming almost whistle for a little bit then go away. Only while not engaged. All pulleys and belts are about six months old. Is this a early sign of clutch failure? Any advice would be really appreciated

do you have a front drive P.T.O.?   Can you remove the belts and tie them off to the side and try to duplicate the issue? I use a long lengrh of 3/8"  hydraulic brake line as a stethiscope to listen to noises... Jojo
