One of them came in the shop a few years back with engine problems.I get the job and found it had a 8.3 cummins in it.Not long before that some one had replace the gears in the front.Maybe a cam and i found the cam gear had broken because some on had heated it til they was big blue spots on it.They could not get cam out for the front cab mount was restricting the cam from going forward enough to clear the mount.I just raised the front of the engine and the cam cam out.

Are parts available?

Driveline parts will be readily available.

As has, been mentioned Engine is 8.3 Cummins either Roadranger or Allison Transmission & Rockwell (Meritor) Steer & drive Axles..

Cab Parts will be hard to get, Though.

PS: were also sold as Kenworth K300.!

Thanks for the replies.

I looked at it in the dark last night, ran great, couldn't drive because the clutch slave is shot.

Speaking of shot, the cab is pretty far gone around the door sills anyways.  if it's still for sale next week I'll check it out in the daylight to make sure the cabs not fixing to fall off 😬

The dump bed is really nice shape, it may be worth it for the bed and engine/tranny (I'm wanting to put a cummins in my 63 1ton power wagon)
