Granite 64 FR vs 84FR

Its only for factory built to designate number of axles. It does get up there with high axle count. For example, a tri drive tri steer MR is a TE126.

To add to to confusion, here is an 84f.

The 64b above has the same axle setup outside of location, but the lift axle was not installed by the factory, so it gets the 64b designation. The 84f had its lift axle installed at lvo, so it gets that designation. The F and B is for setforward or setback front axle.

I wish our Tri-axles were like that one gicknordon. Nice and short, instead of  these ridiculous 266 inch wheelbase 21/22 foot boxes. 

I miss the days of tandems with 15 foot boxes. Not hard on the truck, and go anywhere. And not hauling giiant loads for the same rates, LOL
