Bid now 1,655. 1 day 20 hours left. Frame looks clean, so may be the cab isn't bad being from Virgnia and all. So little info though. May not even have an engine or tranny.

There's a shifter in it with a range valve .  Little odd in a truck that vintage with that air cleaner

any chance there is a 1070 tranny in it?  I dont know when that tranny was born... BTW.. where is the picture of the shifter?  jojo

Ok I was able to see the pics.. I drove a '78 R-model in the late '90's that had a 9spd. with that range valve..  Im just curious now... jojo

That air cleaner in '73 ?  Can't see anything bigger than a 237 in there. I don't think any were made with any transmission that would use that range valve 🤷🏻‍♂️

Says that its a R611 according to the serial number so its very possible it has a Fuller transmission. My F711 has a RTO910 that factory installed.

Wouldn't a 700 series have a Detroit or Cummins in it ?  whatever it is . it does seem to have a transmission in it.

Sold for $3,340.00 . Doesn't a R611 have a thermodyne ENDT673C engine? Seems kind of strange you could still get a 673 engine in 1973. From the pics it looks like an excellent candidate for a restoration.

Yes, R611 was ENDT-673C, 250 HP, and would have had the tall air cleaner.  Fuller transmissions were definitely an option, too.

we were going to bid on the truck but the only day for removel on all the items are on the 28 dec from 10 to 5  and there was lot of stuff in the sale not removed on that day it was there item back   but you had to but up a credit card to pay only so when the sale was done they had your money and you do not get that day you lost

Something's fishy about that truck. Title says it's 2 axle . It really doesn't look to be in the worst of shape ???  Maybe it was a glider
