Working on an E-& Etech Aset. Fuel outlet fitting on ECU stripped while removing steel fitting on line from aluminum fitting on ECU. Anyone have a method of repair short of replacement of ECU? Threads too far gone to dress and make hold. Tried that. Thinking of removing ECU, cutting off fitting, drilling, tapping and installing an oring boss by jic fitting. Don’t know if there is enough material in fitting boss to support this repair. Would appreciate any input. Thanks.
