tjc transport Posted September 18, 2022 Share Posted September 18, 2022 i will second the vitamin E it promotes skin growth and minimizes scaring. i should have a scar from my eye to my chin. instead there is a very faint line you can just barely see. i had a cancerous mole on my cheek. the "root" traveled both ways. they missed removing my right eye because the cancer stopped 2 millimeters from the eye socket.. Joey Mack Posted September 19, 2022 Share Posted September 19, 2022 Mark, I cant use gauze because it will rip my skin off, if you were here to see it, I can rub the wound and my skin tears like thin sliced balogna.. So I use non-stick bandages with burn cream, then mummify my legs with dry gauze wrap.. Wet to dry dressings need to be changed often and sterile. Your immune system is working OT and producing lots of white blood cells(hence the yellow goo). I have some repairs to do.. the day my wife took me to the doctor, our remote control security gate decided to take a crap, and Friday our home a/c compressor locked up, and we are about to have another 90 degree week.. The clowns that built this house put the HVAC unit and thermostat near one end. The other end is ten degrees hotter in the summer and ten colder in the winter. To solve the summer part, we have a 5k window unit on the hot end of the house. It does the job and even makes the big unit run less often. Well, it used to do the job, but the new one seems to be just as good. Then, a day or two later, the upright freezer stops working and the replacement can't get here until the 27th. Before we even get it ordered, the kitchen faucet starts dripping! I set my legs on fire, then our security gate decided to be a dick, then our central air compressor locked up.... I did fix the security gate today... I was out there with my cane and a stool, and some patience.
