I must post this girl on a bike that I saw in front of Costco in Winfall today, just to counteract that.

Maybe I should even add this girl I saw testing mattresses in the Winfall furniture store.

at the show saturday there was a hottie (more then one) worth noting. I tried to snap a picture but it was obvious a jealous boyfriend/ husband was like a hawk watching the chicks. LOL  even tried to aim camera in her direction ; he saw it and put his hand on her ass as if saying it's mine !! . notice the smile on mowerman  in the picture of us. he knew just who to ask to take the picture!! LMAO. yep she was a knock out.

I always heard the two happiest days in a boat owner's life is the day he bought the boat and the day he sold the boat.

Right?

Boat: (noun) A hole in the water where you throw money.

there is no such thing as "done almost nothing so far ""   ..you are pondering the next forward move. it may take a few hrs to ponder;;  which may result in "studying" the TV set for positive info. and we all know studying the TV set CAN NOT  be done properly if one finds themselves  thirsty. just sayin LOL

Well I finally had a cool day to work in my shop..  I put a pair of heads on an ENDT 673,  then I cut counter bores in an E-Tech.  im giving my brain a break.   I concentrate so hard when cutting, it wears me out :) I hope y'all are having a good weekend.  Jojo

If the concentration of engine work didn't wear you out it means you don't give two sh-ts about you work. the physical of mechanics isn't always the worse part ;; the mental fatigue is also a major factor. engines lookin good. i sure do miss the days of engine/ transmission building , unlike todays world of "throw it out put in a new one"

another sign of the times I guess would be something so simple as to say after an engine build that goes 100% correct  I have pride in my work.. the pride idea seems to have gone in a totally different direction. so many times after an engine rebuild (total)  the anxiety of hearing it first start , check for leaks , stare at it and (when no one around ) want to pat yourself on the back . thinking back , I was more excited after an engine start up for first time then sitting in hospital waiting room while wife was giving birth to our daughter!! I know "your a sick puppy" LOL

I take great pride in my Builds..  I will never boast about ME,  I will just put my best effort into it. The last tranny i did was a TRD 72. it will be behind the ENDT 673 that I am building along with this E-Tech..  another part of givin a damn is that I will buy the right tools.   I paid $2,800.00 for that counter bore cutter because the last engine I did for the same friend/customer needed to be cut, and I was not about to hire that out since I know how to do it..

I never do the boasting thing. for me it is/was an internal feeling of satisfaction (pride). going from Mack trucks to baskin robbins which ran a fleet of DD and so fortunate to have been mentored by one of the best DD mechanics , after so many trials and errors of setting a Detroit Diesel fuel rack ; to watch each injector flip at the same time  always got from me "yes you mother fu--kr got ya. get each head perfect then go to the governor to get both heads .never got a 318 to turn stack tips blue like Jimmie  my mentor did.

I dont have a lot of DD knowledge, But my 2nd favorite engine is a 12.7 L.   I know its not mechanical but to me it is a million mile engine and can do the work..  I wish I knew those engines as good as I do the Mack's that I build..
