The 864's had issues and were replaced by the owners with the later V8 or converted to 6 cylinders. The B-755 I have has an 866 V8 in it now. twin stack; B Mack with 866 in the rack. that must have one heck of nice sound when fuel down. if I could only remember 1/2 of what Mack engineers did to the 866 during tear down inspect while I was at waterbury Mack and new style FL700 with 866 was in test mode.
