In our Fire Associations 1951 Mack 45A restoration project we are looking for 6 new tires, the ones on it are about 20 years old and dry rotted.  The truck will hopefully be getting sent out for motor and drivetrain work int he fall and I would love to send it with new tires already on it.  On another project I was involved with 7.0-20's seemed available through Firestone Classic, I could not seem to find these on there in non-military tread.  Is there an equivalent newer sized Bias-Ply tire people are using?

Thanks for the help

Andrew

I had 900 x20 on my Mack fire truck , almost 2 years ago I also wanted to get rid of the split rims ,I had one rim that I know was really rusted and dangerous ,(my truck is a 54 yr) I switched to Dayton rims and 1100x 22.5 radial tires (Chinese). what a difference in the ride. If you can consider new rims too
