I believe I've found the Perfect Candidate For a Green Hornet Memorial Show truck!!! I've found an Autocar With a Sleeper already Painted the Green Color. I've nit been able to git any pictures of it as of yet. But it's sitting in the weeds not To far away from where I live. It looks to be in Really good shape from what I can see from the road.

Dunno what the Autocar is worth but I  reckon this would be closer to what you need

frankly i would prefer the brockway,,,but im sure its not cheap,,,bob

Yeah That Price wasn't as bad as I thought on that Brockway. But the Autocar Is a sleeper rig and from What I could see from the road Friday it looks pretty MEAN....Dual stacks,Visor etc. I'm actually kinda fond of Autocars Thanks to the movie OVER THE TOP. Plus the truck is already Green 💚

Duck, You have a great story and pictures to boot..  it's been about 2 years since you started this thread.  For what ever my opinion is worth,  If you can afford to buy the truck, and Mrs. Duck supports you,,,,,,  Do it..  I have 1 old truck, and I am very proud to have it.  It's not a Mack, but i'm good with that.  What I see in you is a ton of pride as a driver, and a great respect for your kin...  Yeah it's 'just a truck' (to some).. but the pride you will have will be valuable,,,  to you..... Good luck, and you have my blessing..  By the Damn thing !!  :) Jojo

Thanks Joey!! I appreciate it 🙏

Yep, as Joey sez

We don't buy any of this quality gear because it makes sense

I know it's selfish, but stick within your budget, you dont have to fix it all over night

Hell, I spent maybe 10 years slowly collecting parts as I could afford it for my bucket of bolts

And then I was kinda sweating a bit as I made the first cut in the rust

Even now my bucket of bolts isn't a show truck by any stretch of the imagination, but it is mine and mostly done by me, my mate painted it

I do things as I can afford to and have the time to do them

It really is up to you, but if you can stretch it to buy it or something similar, I would, they are only getting thinner on the ground, as they say, "if not now, then when ?"

Anyway don't let me talk you into it

Only one more thing to add, we reach the end of our journey in life very quickly, I'm a lot closer to the end of my working life than the beginning

As the years roll on I am loosing more and more mates

Don't wait to long to bite the bullet on a toy

by those fuzzy 1920's pictures, it looks more like a Kenworth W900 than an A Car.

Taken quickly through a Dirty truck window lol But she's definitely a Autocar
