Wondering if you Mack guys know anymore history on this model. yarnall Posted June 15, 2022 Share Posted June 15, 2022 While there were a lot of EQ’s made, not many remain. Thomas Warth’s book say 10,661 were built between 1937 and 1950. Considering production ended 72 years ago it is no wonder there are not many around. Welcome to the forum. Let’s see a photo. mechohaulic Posted June 16, 2022 Share Posted June 16, 2022 I had a '49 EE dump with plow and a '49 EF flatbed = worked great for hauling hay. had to get rid of them :couldn't find the USB plug. That truck looks great to refurbish mechanistically to make it driveable, from the trailer to the show parking spot, and add some Linseed oil or clear coat to the patina and show it as is.
