I have a T226 auxiliary transmission, transfer case.

The cab data plate lists it as a MR-226 I think for Meritor Rockwell.

Currently the front axle in and out is air shift.

The high, neutral, low range is shifted by a shift lever in the cab and a lot of noise is transferred into the cab. The joints on the rod are very sloppy and I have two rubber bungee cords to deal with the slip. There is still a rattle that is transmitted into the cab during deceleration.

is there a way to convert the hi lo shift to air and eliminate the rattle?
