Joey Mack Posted July 20, 2022 Share Posted July 20, 2022 I just did 2 Mack cams in the last 3 weeks.. I have an infrared temp gun. 475-500 on the gun.. not supposed to go past 500 degrees, but the temp gun is a little 'off'.. so 475-500, with the temp gun.. I have not warped a cam gear yet... I also don't think i will anyway. I use a medium sized, counter top airfryer toaster oven, that really only heats to about 500 degrees.. $65.00 at Wal-Mart..
