Future Macks?

Last month I spent a week up in Pennsylvania running around Harrisburg/Hershey/Lancaster area. Of course thats Mack territory up there and saw more R models  running on the road there than back home. And they were nice R models too, most of the ones down here are in rough shape .

That's one thing my Grandpa instilled in me about being a Truck driver. "Matt even if it ain't your truck you treat it like it's your own" "Cause without it you don't eat" . "Also how that truck looks is how you're represented as a Driver for your company,you want to earn respect out here on the road?" "Then have a truck that earns respect and conduct yourself in a earning respect manner". Then he would look at me serious and Say " Cause if you don't I'ma kick your butt...and Also if you don't you ain't a Truck driver in my book." You're just a man doing a job".

my truck gets washed every night before parking unless it is raining. than it gets washed in the morning before going out. 

clean trucks do not get pulled over. 

dirty trucks do.

Yup I reluctantly agree ! Love em or hate em the Volvo turds keep people working and have kept food on my table since the 2001 plus! The Mack brand has put food on my table for 40 plus years so I shouldnt bitch too loud that said ?I am now retired and Have more  time to Bitch about stuff Now!🤣

In the Volvo cab we always had to pull the Ishift trans all the way out to get the shifter cover off. The Mack cab has the huge removable floor panel you can take out and do a lot on Mdrive repairs without taking the trans out. 

Which Volvo cab? The old one Volvo using in NA or the new Volvo cab using in the rest of the world? They  also build the old Renault Premium cab and the new Renault T cab.

The Renault T high cab have already a flat floor.

The Volvo cab is good looking with the VHD model axle forward. About the best looking construction truck around. Picture that with a Mack hood. Thats pretty much where we have come to with the Mack product-Name/Hood and Dog. Oh I forgot camel backs and rear ends(made at Volvo Hagerstown I guess)
