Is there a safety feature on my truck that disengages the axles before they break? And if so, how do I reset them?
About a month ago I thought I'd broken an axle coming out of the query because I heard a loud snap and when I tried to put it in gear it wouldn't engage. I pulled all 4 axles out and none were broken. I put them back in and everything was back to normal.  Today, the same thing happened and 'm hoping I can reset it without having to pull the axles again. Please Help! #2009MackGU713-MP7

Mack rears???   If so ..  peanuts in the front one..  inside the power divider,,, is possible,,         The last one I did with the same issue, 3 months ago, had blown gears in the top reduction on the front drive..  (The Bevel Gears)...  pull the side cover and look,  the oil drain is on the back, at 7 O'Clock...  9/16" square plug, or if you have a temp sensor, that will be the drain plug..   jojo
