Hello. I'm a model maker and I'm trying to recreate a Mack truck from a picture. The trailer has me completely confused. The trailer looks like the frame is from an old Mack chain drive truck. mackac3-vi.thumb.jpg.ec58fdf3f0e97fd0bd0199cfe9dc62e8.jpg This place seems like place the to get an answer. I'll post the question and picture in the antique section too. Thank you!

I zoomed in the best I could it does infact look like the same design but it looks to have some sort of early suspension on it. From what I could find asking Google it looks to be a Fruehaf trailer.

unlike today's world, things back then were much simpler, many parts were interchangeable. the fact the suspension looked the same was possibly they were. even with the major farm equipment builders; knowing farmers then didn't have alot of $$$$ , manufactures of the equipment =rakes, wagons, balers etc made them the same so a farmer didn't have to buy a new tractor each time.  the above trailer looks to be using same suspension as the AC . even the box of the trailer is similar to that of a rail car box.. it was a "world of one size fits all" LOL
