Hope some one can help. I drive for a friend once in awhile. Here is the problem when driving with a load on, when you hit a bumpy spot the engine shuts down, a yellow light comes on the dash, if you reach down shut off the key and then back on the engine comes back to life. Today I hit a really rough road well it shut down but with all the off and on of the ignition did not work had to shut down and wait 10 second restarted the engine it was fine. I am hoping someone on here may be able to help. Thanks

Loose grounds,  and if it is V-mac II, I would check the plug connection and condition at the injection pump.  the deutch connector needs to be secured into the yoke that should be there.   jojo

The acc. relay, if connections are loose can cause a shutdown if it V-Mac II.  V-Mac I has a pull stop..  It is a good suggestion to check the acc. relay.  It is under the ash tray inside the dash. You can here a loud click when you cycle the key, and if you dont know where it is, the sound will bring you to it  :)
