schaap moving Posted January 19, 2023 Share Posted January 19, 2023 Hi I own a 1975 MB487 Mack and I’m looking for water pump replacement or information on rebuilding them . Factory # is 8183-211998 Mack dealer says none are available. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Joey Mack Posted January 19, 2023 Share Posted January 19, 2023 I dont know that model, so I dont know the engine, howerver, if is an E-6,,, PAI has short and long shaft water pumps, you will have to swap the pulley. No biggie.. I was trying to get a picture of your truck last year when I took some of Northstar's fleet but it was hidden behind some containers. How about trying Abreu Truck Services in Newark? They are the only Scania specialist I know of.
