My wife bought the '73 Mack for my 73rd. birthday! I drove a '66 R lowboy for 10 yrs. for a big road builder back when I was a young man. Farmed and had an excavating company and now semi-retired. Don't remember ever seeing anyone restore something like that. It was owned by Lockheed Martin and was on an Airforce base as a refueling truck. It is pretty solid and will require only minimal body work before being repainted. I will pipe the exhaust out the back. The previous owner planned on making it a dump truck. Some ware along the way it lost it's tandem axle and became a single axle.
