I need some help with B model battery box configurations. My truck has a 24V starter and a single R model box that's been welded on, and it has two 31 batteries in it. I haven't been able to find any helpful information on how to figure out how my truck would have been originally set-up. I've seen some trucks that have a box on the left side, some on the right, and some look like they have 2 boxes. Would all 24V trucks originally have had 2 boxes?  Also, how were the boxes  originally mounted on these trucks? The holes in the back of this box would not match up with any original holes in the frame. Were there angle steel brackets? My truck is a '65 B61 tandem with the short wheelbase (146"?) and dual aluminum fuel tanks, and it also has the air tank on the driver's side between the fuel tank and the axle. Thanks for any help
