250 is a litte on the high side.

My diesels usually show around 20 degrees higher than coolant temp when running hard.

This is on both big trucks and pickups.

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

I’ve been wondering this myself. I finally looked the specs up and with coolant temp between 167-203 degrees the oil temp should be between 194-243 degrees. However it has a note that higher coolant temperatures will of course translate to higher oil temps. The max oil temp fully loaded is 262 degrees. I assume above  262 degrees you will get fault codes/warnings .
