Jim Tomer(Tundra) is from a frozen land(Alaska), and Idaho.   He made a stop in Ohio some years back and we spend an afternoon looking at Bighorns.  I even got pictures (somewhere).

Jim Hancock got in a bit of a tiff on here a few years ago and he and a few others left abruptly.  Sad.

I believe this pic of Tomer came from you, Larry

Yeah. I know Hancock got caught up in “the purge”.  I miss him though.

he deleted most of his old posts when he started causing trouble for some reason only known to him.

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

Wow, sorry to hear that Jim. Hope you have a speedy recovery. I'm finding age makes a fool of my mind. Mind tells me I'm still 26, body says nope, not really! Glad to hear your back, may be time to sit inside for a while and spend some time on the boards, and out of the shop.

Just got out of jail. Looks like I've been missed, I don't understand why, but if they'll let Tomer post here, hell has surely frozen over and they'll let me post here too.

Eddy, what is the longer term prospects for JOT? is it coming back or done?

Geoff just before we went dark we were moved to a new server that was to be a long term solution. Then we disappeared, the hosting provider has disappeared. He doesn't answer emails.

As a solution I offered to clean up the ATHS forums so we'd have a place to go. When the ATHS Exec Board told them to give me the admin credentials it disappeared. So now we have the Bill story all over again. The story I'm told now is Freightliner was considering a grant to upgrade all their IT systems to the tune of 100k at the end of the year and they'd rebuild it then so what to do? buy another old truck.

When shoot Hank.  Good to hear from ya Eddy.  Glad you joined us.

Geoff, I know it's a "mack" website, but the more the merrier and most all of you guys have plenty of help to add to any of the sections of this forum.  Heck we even have a post in the Odd and Ends that is for "Off track" stuff that happens with most of the posts there.  It's been a running joke for quite some time, so a post was started.

Barry might even be willing to add some sections for all the other non-Mack stuff.  Like the Brockway section in the "other brands" section (yeah, I know the Brockway-Mack connection!).

Glad y'all are here regardless,

"Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines."

Just sayin', Barry MIGHT be willing to put sub-categories under the "Other Brands" section so stuff could be separated by brand.  Or, he might not!  Bu he's pretty cool about most things.
