The A/C used to work fine in this truck but something hap[peded lately, When my air conditioner is on the fan on the engine doesn't engage and compressor short cycles if I unplug the wire to the left of the radiator the fan engages and it stays engaged and the compressor seems to run longer with the fan engaged. Is  there clutch fan is there a relay that controlls the engine fan? Also is there a relay next to the APAD?

Thanks in advance for any and all help

Has the A/C system been recharged recently?  Check the condition of the binary switch in the reciever dryer bottle, as well as the wires.  Does the APADS show any codes?    The wire on the radiator???  is it connected to a fan control valve?  a brass valve about 5/8'' diameter, and 3'' long?
