He said that he always thought southern folks were stupid because they talked slower. But, he later learned that talking faster did not necessarily make you smarter. It just made the stupid things come out of your mouth faster. He was the first one who ever admitted to me that he left where he lived to escape people like himself. Was a pretty cool guy.
