Hey guys, I have an odd problem I can't seem to figure out. I have a 1991 mack ch613 and the headlights work fine with the key in the off position. As soon as you turn the key to the on position or the truck is running it trios the circuit breaker and causes the lights to go out. I checked all the basic stuff lole bare wires oh shitty connections. I cleaned all that stuff and I'm still having a problem. Anyone ever had a similar problem and find a solution 9ther than wiring the lights by themselves to a separate switch?

Do the headlight wires run behind the oil filters?  If so, check there, especially at the wire clamps bolted to the engine.

Had an old mack mechanic tell me to pull the relay for the running lights amd it fixed the problem and all the running lights work as they should... no idea why but if someone needs a quick fix there ya go
