Now that I look it over, I might just mask  off half of the roof. I can’t see how else I could do it without wind up spraying part of it dry since I haven’t got access to staging, which would make it a lot easier

Yeah, I may come up with something. I’m thinking if I try to spray from just one side half of it will wind up to dry. I’m gonna be out there in a little while working on it, but I’m not gonna do any bodywork today. I think I’m going to take out the passenger seat and take down the headliner. I have to change the maxi valve and swap out the transmission and I know that seat is gonna be on the way for both Jobs I might as well just take it out and leave it out … bob

You might be able to pick up a few sections of scaffolding on Craigslist or facebook marketplace and then sell them when your done Bob. Or you’d have them around for future projects… 😎

That’s a genius ha ha had not thought of that years ago. I bought an old pick up truck off a buddy of mine. When I moved out here I had to go back there and get a few things Massachusetts to LA anyway I got out to California with this old pick up truck that did a fine job all the way across the country. I didn’t have any trouble at all When I was all done with the moves, I sold the truck in California and actually made a profit on it. I know it’s a boring old people story but I thought somebody would appreciate it.bob

I’m going to Home Depot tonight after work they have a rental department in there. I’ll poke around and see what I can come up with. They might just rent that stuff out right there. That’s probably the best way TJ.The latters would work well but all I have is one straight extension

"made a but couple"? I'm not going to ask.

Not sure what options you have out there Bob, but you may find a “local” rental place is more “price friendly” than the big box store. Last time I priced something (it’s been a while) the local “Taylor Rental” was half the price of HD….

Also check out the availability / prices at the equipment rental places..

Supposed to be 106° tomorrow. I think I will continue with my Saturday morning ritual get  out there. Fairly early and tackle that leaking maxi valve and pull down the headliner and start banging out dents in the roof the truck is been sitting around so long with no work at all done to it. I’m trying to make up for last time. Try to spend a couple hours every Saturday…. Bob

That’s kind of strange different areas got different handles for different things. You probably never heard of this paul…but back on the east coast we used to call a straight truck..a  straight job. I went out here. It’s called a bobtail. I don’t even know if they call them  that anymore that was 45 years ago .. I moved out of there. Also a three axle out here is a twin axle. Back east U would say twin axle. Or twin  Screw. Haven’t lived back there in 45 years sometimes shit changes, but that’s the way it used to be…. plasterboard or sheet rock back there out here they call it drywall … also potting soil out here they used to call it loom back there it’s interesting. I know some people are thinking. What the hell is your point  mower man is there a point here no just woke up having my 1st cup… bob

It looks brand new, but why wouldn’t everything‘s new windows siding moldings they even went around and put all the little goodies like the vents around the garden hose and the light switches and the roof vents yes it does look way better than person. I think it might’ve been the heat. It was really hot when I got back here yesterday and the fellows were just finishing up.
