Well, no progress this weekend. I don’t know. I didn’t feel like doing anything to it yesterday or today since we got back from that cruise…. I haven’t had any ambition But then again, I’m still doing these ball busting hours three more weeks and I’ll have a lot more time…. will go out and start it in a little while if I don’t do anything else, I start it every weekend… bob

Well, might have to scratch the sanding three guys out back installing a fence running this loud machine digging holes. Dogs won’t start barking. Might have to put it off another week oh well two more weeks and I have all the  freetime I could handle.

Not sure I know the older Kenworth had a glass nose as well right around the same time. I think they both came out with the nose fiberglass same year. Claras think about it. I think Kenworth actually was first.

I went and looked at one. I almost bought around 20 or so years ago. I want to say it was a 62 and I was sure it had a glass nose  but it was a long time ago….. and like most of us.. my mind is slipping… bob

Oh, I couldn’t get it started yesterday. I tried everything so didn’t do anything to it  after I retired next Friday and and have plenty of time. I will pull up all the fuel lines and change them. I’m sure that’s what it is…. Bob

Wow! She get's in shape very promising!

A half an hour with a sander in hands sounds like a normal working range. Sanders have tendency to overheat too. Good way to go is combining putting one spot into shape and applying epoxy patches onto another.

Yes, that’s kind of the plan. I was trying to get this worse. Part over with the rest of the nose is not going to be anywhere near this  time-consuming. I have two air Sanders and two electric I think tomorrow I will switch off to a different one now that I have a lot more time. I can go out there every morning.
