Coolant Question

On my 2004 AMI370 what color coolant should I be using. It has a coolant filter on it it is a Baldwin BW5178.  I am currently using red antifreeze. I have read conflicting information so I figured I would ask the experts.

Is coolant filter an add on type?.. reason I ask is because these engines rarely came with the factory filter because they were meant to use bulldog extended life coolant.

If you have these two plugs (see picture  ) then it's probably a filter someone added ,as these two plugs are the mount for the factory filter(coolant conditioner)

I am not sure.  but is bolted to the thermostat housing it looks factory. That is why I am asking questions. I don’t want to have corrosion issues.

The coolant is red ELC.  The filter kits that the dealership has, comes with 2 bags of coolant conditioning powder..  maybe take a look at that kit and the instructions..  jojo
